Our Commitment to Quality

At Made by Petit, we handcraft each piece of fine jewelry to order using premium Akoya pearls, ethically sourced gemstones, and Platinum, 14K or 18K gold. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and want you to love your jewelry.

Made-to-Order Policy

Because each piece is custom-made specifically for you, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on completed orders unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your jewelry arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at madebypetitjewelry@gmail.com  with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the item and any damage
  • Description of the issue

We will promptly replace the item or issue a full refund at no additional cost to you.

Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order for a full refund if:

  • The order has not yet entered production (typically within 24-48 hours of purchase)
  • You contact us at [your email] with your order number

Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled as materials have been allocated and work has commenced on your custom piece.

Sizing Issues

We want your jewelry to fit perfectly. If you receive an item that doesn't fit properly:

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery
  • We offer one complimentary resize for rings (shipping costs apply)
  • Resizing requires 1-2 weeks

Quality Guarantee

All Made by Petit jewelry comes with a quality guarantee. If you experience any craftsmanship issues within 30 days of delivery, we will repair or replace the item free of charge.

Exchanges

While we cannot accept returns on made-to-order items, we're happy to discuss exchange options on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at madebypetitjewelry@gmail.com to discuss your specific situation.

Processing Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days and will be credited to your original payment method. Please allow your financial institution an additional 3-5 business days for the credit to appear.
